January Activity Kit and Contest
To help stay connected and to alleviate a bit if winter boredom, BBBSWI came up with a cool activity to do at home, for any kids in our program who wished to participate.
The youth got the opportunity to create an awesome themed collage keepsake box; the themes they got to choose from were Anime/Manga, Superheroes, and Animals/Nature. All the materials and instructions were included in the kits, and coordinator Cathy, hand-delivered a kit to anyone who was interested in participating. Prizes for the top 3 creations were awarded for those who sent in a picture of their craft. About 30 kits were delivered in total throughout the West Island and Montreal area.
