FlightHub recently participated in a charity hockey tournament supporting Hockey Helps the Homeless, a national charity that partners with local organizations to raise awareness and funds to support those who are experiencing homelessness in Canada.
FlightHub’s participation in the tournament was a great display of the company’s commitment to social responsibility. Fundraising began in February and the team surpassed their goal of $15,000 raising just under $25,000.
The team showed up in full force, ready to compete and support the cause. FlightHub’s team showed great sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the tournament, and they were able to showcase their skills on the ice. Despite the competition, the main focus of the event was to raise money for Hockey Helps the Homeless.
The event was a great success, raising over $675,000. The funds raised will go towards supporting local organizations that provide essential services to those experiencing homelessness. These organizations provide shelter, food, and support services to help individuals get back on their feet.
