Sunlight decreases, we have to shovel, the temperature often drops below freezing…but there is a silver lining that comes out during this time. A shining snow-capped peak gives us a beacon of hope that we can conquer winter, all while having fun, staying active and most importantly staying warm. A top ski destination for generations and generations. Whistler is perfect for beginners, experts, skiers, snowboarders and even just people looking to enjoy that après-ski lifestyle. You’ll even find the world’s longest unsupported lift span, the PEAK 2 PEAK gondola, which joins the two mountaintops. Our favourite part of Whistler Blackcomb though is the magnificent fact that you can look out and see snowy mountains and the Pacific Ocean!

2. Zermatt, Switzerland

Anyone who’s ever heard of skiing knows Zermatt. A real-life winter wonderland and a dream for skiers who are looking to check off some of the most challenging slopes in the world. Not only does the ski resort look like something right out of a storybook but you also have some once-in-a-lifetime adventures through the slopes.
